
From Frustration to Freedom: How I Overcame Chronic Pain with Corrective Exercise
The Struggle: Feeling Trapped in Pain I used to think pain was just part of working out. I had spent years lifting heavy, balancing it with stability work, and pushing my body to its limits. But over time, I started noticing nagging hip pain, aching knees, and upper body discomfort that wouldn't go away. Then in 2022, I faced a major setback—an ovary torsion that required surgery.
That surgery left me with a weak core, struggling to rebuild from scratch. I couldn’t train the way I used to. Movements that once felt effortless became a challenge. I felt stuck, frustrated, and unsure how to move forward.
The Breakthrough: Discovering Corrective Exercise I realized that pushing through pain wasn’t the answer—I needed a smarter approach. I dove deep into Corrective Exercise and Exercise Therapy, earning certifications to understand how the body truly works.
Through my studies, I discovered that many people (myself included) suffer from pain because of overuse, improper muscle activation, and poor movement patterns. It wasn’t just about working out—it was about moving correctly.
I developed my P.E.A.C.E. Framework to:

Using this method, I rebuilt my core, alleviated my hip pain, and finally started moving pain-free.
